Communications Software (Airline Systems) Limited ("Commsoft"), provider of market leading software systems for aircraft maintenance has signed a deal with Arpiem Servicii de Aviatie SRL ("Arpiem"), a Romanian technical services management organisation that works with aviation operations across Europe.
Arpiem will be using Commsoft’s flagship Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System ("OASES") software to provide bespoke technical management and CAMO services to executive operators, general aviation and airlines in Europe. The system will be rapidly implemented at Arpiem as many of its staff have experience of OASES from previous work with airlines.
Arpiem will be offering its expertise to Commsoft, aiding rapid implementations to new OASES customers, as part of Commsoft’s growing network of specialist integration partners.
Nick Godwin, Business Development Director at Commsoft, commented: "Arpiem has very high quality staff and we are pleased that Arpiem has chosen OASES for its new CAMO operation. There are many operators in Romania, Europe and other markets, which could benefit from OASES’ extensive functionality allied to Arpiem’s breadth of technical knowledge."
Radu Boriga, General Manager of Arpiem CAMO added: "Arpiem considers OASES a very valuable choice; the system is perfectly suited to our needs and to managing the continuing airworthiness of our (sub)contractors’ fleets."
OASES draws on Commsoft’s expertise in the aviation and IT industries to offer a reliable and affordable MRO IT solution, which can be easily deployed into any aircraft maintenance environment. The Commsoft team has developed a set of functionally sophisticated and easy to use systems, which utilise the latest technologies and an industry leading database to increase efficiency and reduce costs in many key areas.
As one of the most successful aviation engineering and maintenance systems in the world, OASES is used by over 50 organisations globally for a wide variety of applications.
