Swedish Airline NextJet Goes Live with Commsoft’s OASES

London & Stockholm, 22nd March 2011

Commsoft is pleased to report that a recent new OASES customer, NextJet AB ("NextJet") has begun implementing the OASES MRO system into its maintenance operations and has already 'gone live' with its first three SAAB 340 aircraft. NextJet, a scheduled and charter aircraft operator based in Sweden signed an agreement for the use of OASES back in October 2010.

OASES will be rapidly deployed to manage NextJet’s fleet of thirteen SAAB 340 airliners, four BAE ATP and two Beech 1900D aircraft which operate from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. The SAAB 340 fleet is planned to be fully implemented in OASES within the next three months and will be quickly followed by the BAE ATP fleet.

Nick Godwin, Business Development Director at Commsoft, said: "Commsoft has a history of supporting rapid deployments of the OASES system with start up airlines and CAMOs. In this case, we are proud to be associated with the rapid implementation of the newly-expanded fleet at NextJet, including migration of data from other systems. OASES’ combination of functional richness and simple intuitive usability gives it a competitive edge over other MRO systems, offering easier deployability"

Sverre Rosmark, Engineering Manager at NextJet added: "We are happy to say that the implementation of OASES is progressing well. The first few aircraft have now been implemented and we are planning to add to this approximately one aircraft per week. We are looking forward to taking advantage of all the functions in the system and we are convinced that we will now be able to work more efficiently. We are pleased with the relationship and support we have with Commsoft and its implementation team."

NextJet is using OASES to cover the following elements:

◾Tech Logs & Defect Control

◾Inventory parts database

◾Technical Records & Forecasting

◾AD/SB Evaluation
